Pasta Gusto, in its current state, was created in America, but our origins were born in Southern Italy. Our pasta-making process follows traditional Neapolitan recipes and ingredients, using the highest quality imported ingredients, so we can provide a simple food with a rich heritage.
Pasta Gusto is lead by Head Pasta Chef Riccardo, a foreign-exchange from student from Monteforte Cilento, Italy (a small town near Naples) living in Florida. Assisted by his host family, Riccardo draws inspiration (and recipes) from his mother and Nona back home.
We believe that pasta is about more than just sustenance – it's about bringing people together. That's why we make all of our pasta by hand, using only premium ingredients, including bottled Italian mineral water. Our flour is milled in Naples and contains NO additives, preservatives, and is not bleached or enriched.
Italian Heritage, Freshly Crafted: From the Heart of Napoli to your plate, your pasta journey begins here.
Egg Pasta is fresh. Made using a mixture of imported Semolina and Tipo "00" flour (no additives, enrichment or bleaching), Italian mineral water, and fresh eggs. Containing a higher moisture content and containing eggs, it has a short shelf life than dry pasta. Fresh pasta should be kept in the refrigerator and will last 2-3 days. It can also be frozen for up to one month, ideally in an airtight bag. Fresh pasta cooks much faster than dry, only 2-3 minutes in boiling water with salt. Frozen past

Literally "little hollows" in Italian, this pasta resembles gnocchi, but contains no potato and is thinner; excellent with almost any sauce due to its ability to mop up liquids.
A thicker, textured pasta, similar to cavatelli but without the pocket in the rear; great addition to soups like a dumpling, or with buttery sauces.
Mix and match any 4 pastas, fresh or dry.
Our dry pasta is still made fresh each week, using only 100% durum wheat flour milled in Naples, Italy. Our imported flour is pure and contains no additives, is not enriched, and is not bleached. It is mixed using bottled Italian mineral water, which enhances the flavor without adding elements such as fluoride. It is then air dried to avoid becoming brittle. Our dry pasta contains no preservatives so does not last indefinitely, but lacking eggs does not need to be refrigerated and has a much lon
Squat pasta with ridges that resemble a radiator, hence the name; our signature dry pasta is versatile, due to the unique shape. It holds chunks and meat well in thicker sauces but liquid also traps well inside the ruffles.
Pasta formed into a spiral or helix shape; This pasta does best in a medium sauce such as Pesto or Marinara.
A tube-shaped pasta with a hollow opening inside; this pasta does a good job trapping liquids and does well in soups, or with thinner sauces or creamy sauces.
